2219 aluminium alloy sheet may be produced to much higher strength but with reduced ductility.

2219 aluminium sheet is a heat-treatable product suitable for high-temperature applications.

2219 aluminium alloy sheet may be heat-treated to produce tempers with a much higher strength but with reduced ductility. The material combines good mechanical properties with good machinability and is highly suitable for high-temperature applications. Used in applications including aerospace structures and fuel tanks, 2219 sheet offers good fracture toughness and is readily weldable.

Stock Availability

We stock 2219 aluminium sheets in a wide range of incremental sizes and tempers, including O, T31, T62, T81 and T851.

Processing Services

We add considerable value to our stockholding capabilities with in-house processing where we guillotine your aluminium sheet to your specific size requirements. We also offer a vinyl coating service where your processed sheets are coated with a fine vinyl film to protect the aesthetic appearance of the product during transit and subsequent machining.
