Who are we?
Smiths Advanced Metals
(SAM) was formed in 1989 with the simple aim of creating a
World Class supplier of high quality metals to all high
technology industries. The belief at the outset was that
there is a need for industries of all types and sizes, to
have access to a single reliable source for all metals, the
quality of which would be second to none, with facilities
for physical preparation as close as possible to the
customers final requirement.
Over the years SAM has become
a key supplier into a wide range of markets a few of which
are listed below.

Today SAM is a part of the
Smiths Metal Centres Group of companies and, whilst
retaining the core beliefs it had when it was established,
