BS S524 Stainless Steel Sheet & Strips

We stock BS S524 hardened/tempered stainless steel sheets and strips, and in various thicknesses.

BS S524 hardened stainless steel sheets, and strips are stabilised with titanium.

BS S524 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel sheet product typically used in aerospace applications for bodywork, blanking panels, space frames and general fabrication. The alloy is available in cold rolled or cold rolled and tempered delivery conditions and provides good cold workability. The material should be considered for applications where good corrosion resistance in the production of medium-strength components is a requirement. BS S524 offers good weldability, and typically tensile strength is 800 - 1100 N/mm² in the cold-rolled delivery condition.
