Ti-3Al-2.5V (Grade 9)
Alloy of titanium with 3% aluminium and 2.5% vanadium. Lower strength than 6-4 (Grade 5) titanium but more formable/weldable. Greater strength than CP grades with high corrosion resistance. For tubing in aircraft, corrosion resistant pipes and vessels, recreational products.

CP Grade 2
Commercially pure titanium. Most frequently employed unalloyed titanium combining moderate mechanical strength and high corrosion resistance with good ductility and excellent weldability. For architecture, medical, automotive, chemical plant, Oil & Gas, brewing and marine applications.

34 KB

CP Grade 3
Commercially pure titanium. Unalloyed titanium combining good mechanical strength and high corrosion resistance with  moderate ductility and excellent weldability. For architecture, medical, automotive, chemical plant, Oil & Gas, brewing and marine applications.
